Three decades of keeping
machines running.
Kavach Beltings started as a small belt repair workshop in Jalandhar in 1992. Today, we manufacture and export precision transmission belts to OEMs and distributors across 40+ countries — without ever losing the hands-on engineering mindset we started with.
From a repair bench to a full production line.
Our founder began by repairing worn-out transmission belts for local textile mills — often re-engineering designs that off-the-shelf belts couldn't handle. That problem-solving instinct became the foundation of the company.
By the early 2000s, we had moved from repair to full in-house manufacturing, investing in precision cutting and vulcanising equipment to produce belts to exact client specifications rather than generic sizes.
Today, our plant runs ISO-certified quality processes, and our engineering team works directly with OEM clients to design belts for machines that don't have an "off-the-shelf" answer.
Growing one belt at a time.
Founded as a belt repair workshop
Started with a single workbench serving local textile mills in Jalandhar.
Shifted to in-house manufacturing
Invested in precision cutting and vulcanising machinery to produce belts to spec.
First international export order
Shipped our first container of tangential belts to a distributor in the Middle East.
ISO 9001 certification achieved
Formalised our quality management system across the full production line.
Crossed 40 export markets
Now serving OEMs and distributors across Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East.
Our values on the shop floor.
Precision First
Every belt is tested for tension and tolerance before it leaves the plant.
No Generic Sizing
We'd rather engineer one belt right than ship ten that are "close enough."
Direct Communication
Clients speak to our engineers directly — no layers, no guesswork.
Built for the Long Run
We measure success in years of uninterrupted machine uptime, not units sold.
